Mr. James Smith Asante is an Associate Member of Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (UK). He is also a member of the Institute of Human Resource Practitioners (Ghana).
He has over 23 years’ experience as company secretary and a He worked with Barclays Bank for 5 years as Registrar. Since 2000, he has been working with Metropolitan Insurance Company Ltd as company secretary.
Mr. Asante is currently an Honoring Secretary of Ghana Insurance College serving both governing and academic boards. He has lots of leadership experience and serves as role model in the society.
Mr. Kwadwo Amofa-Fofie – Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Kwadwo Amofa-Fofie had his EMBA (Project Management) from University of Ghana Business School. He holds Bed (Accounting) from the University of Cape Coast. He had his Microfinance education from the Southern New Hampshire (MDI) University, New Hampshire, USA. He also did a course in Business Planning and Financial Modeling using Microfin in Washington DC, USA.
Kwadwo has over fifteen (15) years experience in financial administration and credit management. He is a training consultant for microfinance institutions. He was in charge of finance in World Vision Ghana at Ashanti Area Development Program. He moved to join ADRA Ghana as project Accountant responsible for input credit, a USAID project. He was then promoted to become the Finance and Operations Manager of ADRA GHANA Microfinance Foundation. Kwadwo later joined Beige Capital as Head of Credit.
Adwoa Serwaa Asamoah-Addo (Mrs.) – Member
Adwoa Serwaa Asamoah-Addo (Mrs.) is a legal practitioner with International Commercial Bank as Legal Officer responsible for Legal Assignments and Legal Research. She holds an LLB from University of Ghana Law School, and a BL from the Ghana School of Law. She also obtained Bachelor of Arts degree with First Class from the University of Ghana.
Mrs. Asamoah-Addo has a lot of experience in Legal Assignments, Legal Research and Human Resource with reputable companies such as IFS Financial Services Ltd as legal and compliance Officer and an Associate of Fugar & Company and Nana Akuoku Sarpong & Partners. She is an Executive Member of the General Conference of Seventh Day Adventist Church, the Governing Body of the World Wide Church with the Headquarters in Maryland, USA. She is also a Board Member of the Advent Press.
Mr. Kwasi Odame – Member
Mr. Kwasi Odame is a Chartered Accountant with ICA Ghana and holds BA in Computer Science and Economics from the University of Ghana, Legon. Mr. Odame has over 15years experience in Programming, Budget Preparation and Monitoring, Strategic Planning, Financial Management and Reporting. He is an experienced person in Management Information Systems for microfinance, quality credit delivery, and leadership and business management.
He worked with Controller and Accountant General’s Department as programmer, designing personnel supplementary database and monitoring personnel levels against payroll. Volta River Authority as Programmer responsible for the preparation of specifications for acquisition of computer equipment, business plan for MIS department and MIS Policies and Procedures.
He joined Association of Productive Entrepreneurs Development (APED), a Microfinance Institution (affiliate to World Vision Ghana) as MIS/ Finance Officer and rose to become Finance Director. Mr. Odame is currently working with University of Ghana as an Accountant responsible for user support of their integrated financial system. He was formerly in charge of budgeting and management reporting at the University. He is the Chairman of Madina Area SDA Co-operative Credit Union.
Mrs. Cynthia Amofa-Fofie – Member
Mrs. Cynthia Amofa-Fofie read MBA (General) and a holder of Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) all from the University of Cape Coast.
She has over ten (10) years experience in human resource management, Office administration and financial accounting. She worked with Home Health Education Service, a subsidiary of South Ghana Conference of Seventh Day Adventist Church as Accounts officer. She was transferred to the audit department and later became the Administrative officer to the Executive Secretary to the Conference.
